DR. Ronald adkins
Ron initially repented of his sins and asked Jesus to forgive him at a Wednesday evening prayer meeting at seven years of age at the Little Country Church in Waynesburg, Ohio. He sensed a call to ministry while being a carpenter by vocation. Ron attended Circleville Bible College (now Ohio Christian University), Circleville, Ohio, and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree.
Ron married Jan (Neff) before attending Wesley Biblical Seminary in Jackson, MS, where he earned a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) in 2004. After graduation, Ron returned to Ohio Christian University and taught in the Bible and Theology Department while working on a Master of Sacred Theology (S.T.M.) degree from Trinity Lutheran Seminary, Columbus, Ohio.
Ron has also been a pastor of two congregations and has completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from Middlesex University, London School of Theology, U.K.
Ron has served as the East Central Conference Superintendent since 2017. He and Jan have four children: Ronnie, Nathaniel, Eli, and Maddie, and reside in northwest Ohio.
